On the show this week the big focus is the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open from Portstewart Golf Links. It's the biggest Irish Open ever in terms of date in the calendar, prestige on the Tour being a Rolex Series event and strenghth of field and we are incredibly excited for it.

We also have a chat about the anchor ban and the rules around it which has gone crazy across golf media this week. The Ladies European Tour is in trouble and we discuss some possible ways they can save the Tour. We have a look back on the winners of last week and then turn our attention to the Irish Open where Rory looks to defend his title.

We break down the golf course, an unknown to the vast majority of the field and identify the challenges faced by the players this week, what skills and attribrutes they'll need to put themselves into contention and what they'll need to avoid doing that could ruin their chances and the weather conditions they'll face. We then pull this all together into a few of our fancies for the week as well as talking about the big guns and some fairytale outsiders. It's always one of the most fascinating and story filled tournaments of the year, and this one promises no different.
