Ep 143 - Thomas Joins The Majors Crew

August 15, 2017

On the show this week we look back at Justin Thomas' first Major as he won The 99th PGA Championship at Quail Hollow Golf Club. The course was a stern test of golf with thick rough, hard and lightning fast greens and 7600 yards of length. The tournament took time to warm up before some fireworks and excitement on Sunday. We also talk about the failures of the broadcast strategy and possible improvements.

We have a short chat at the beginning about our own games and course set up issues at our home course Druids Heath, Rory's rib and possible extended time off and Tiger's rehab.

August 9, 2017

On the show this week we look back on Matsuyama's superb win at The Bridgestone Invitational with a flawless final round 61 to go into the final Major of the season in red hot form and as one of the favourites. We also look back on the The Women's British Open won by In-Kyung Kim to win a Major that so cruelly eluded her 5 years ago.

We then move onto previewing The 99th PGA Championship from Quail Hollow Golf Club, with the strongest field in golf assembled for the final Major of the year, looking at the course, the chances of the big names and a few long shots.

Ep 141 - Spieth Opens & Rory Closes

August 2, 2017

On the show this week we reflect on The 147th Open Championship from Royal Birkdale, won in dramatic fashion by Jordan Spieth. A slow burner, but one that will long live in the memory after the scenes at the 13th. We wrap up by taking a look at the Women's British Open, The Barracuda Championship and The WGC Bridgestone Invitational where all the top players are fine tuning their games at Firestone in advance of the final Major of 2017 The PGA Championship from Quail Hollow next week.
